Improvements in vertically sliding windows for use on vehicles

Abstract

276,125. Humber, Ltd., Cole, J. A., Oliver, C. S., and Buckingham, F. J. July 26, 1926. Wind-screens. - A sliding wind-screen is gripped in the fully raised position by means of lugs 6 on the lower corners adapted tc engage with a wedge action jaws 10 attached to the body-rail and sides. The lugs 6 may be thickened and tapered towards the top. The jaws 10 are of greater width and depth than the guides.
