Abstract

本发明提出一种ISSU升级方法,应用于堆叠系统,所述堆叠系统包括堆叠设备和若干服务器,所述堆叠设备包括至少两台核心骨干CB设备和若干台端口扩展PE设备,其中所述若干服务器分别上行接入到隶属于同一个聚合组的至少两台不同的PE设备,所述方法包括:在对CB设备进行ISSU升级前,根据聚合组配置对所述服务器上行接入的PE设备进行分组;对分组后的PE设备按分组依次进行ISSU升级,并在升级过程中同时对CB设备进行ISSU升级;或在升级完成后,再对CB设备进行ISSU升级。通过本发明,可以缩短针对堆叠设备的软件版本升级时间。
The invention provides an ISSU (In-Service Software Upgrade) method and system which is applied to a stacking system. The stacking system comprises a stacking device and a plurality of servers; the stacking device comprises at least two CB (Core backbone) devices and a plurality of PE (Port Extender) devices; the plurality of servers are accessed into at least two different PE devices in an uplink mode, wherein the at least two different PE devices belong to the same aggregation group. The ISSU method comprises performing grouping on the PE devices according to the aggregate group configuration before the ISSU is performed on the CB devices, wherein the servers are accessed into the PE devices in an uplink mode and performing the ISSU on the grouped PE devices according to the grouping in turn and simultaneously performing the ISSU on the CB devices in the upgrading process or performing the ISSU on the CB devices after the upgrading is achieved. According to the ISSU method and system, the time of the software version upgrading on the stacking device can be shortened.
